Dragon shifters… say no more. 😍

This book took a while to get used to the characters and their ways. It definitely plays on the bad decisions, the baddest bullies, and the badass powers. Lots of bad things that that actually make a great story. As long as you remember it’s only fiction.

This reminded me of elements from The Mortal Instruments and Stealing Embers but with more adult content. This is definitely aimed and NA and over, but also anyone who loves a gritty magical story. Sometimes reading about a ton of bad shit happening to others makes for a good read.

What I liked…

Did I mention dragon shifters?

Any shifters?

Elemental magic.

Annoying characters. Yes, that’s a good thing since I feel annoyed on behalf of the other characters.

Weird stuff going on.

Questionable characters.

What I didn’t like…

Sometimes the twins did magical things a little too easily at the beginning of the books for my liking. They just discovered their powers yet they could do some pretty cool stuff.

It annoyed me how everyone expected the twins to know everything. I can get on board with the frustration from others, but logically, the girls wouldn’t know much.

Final thoughts…

Loved it, and there’s probably something wrong with me for it but I don’t care.
