No spoilers, but as usual with Jacks, I’m so confused and conflicted in the best ways and every time I think it’s going to be okay… This is a wild ride of emotions that make me fall in love with these characters and the story and this whole world.
What I liked…
Again, everything.
The writing is so eclectic and emotive and so visual. My favourite.
I love how Evangeline wants and needs someone to trust despite literally everyone either cursing her, trying to kill her, betraying her, or using her. Life can’t get worse.
Jacks… Oh Jacks. I need he’s the epitome of “oh he’s so hot and miserable”
The tension between these two is killing me in the best ways,
What I didn’t like…
That book 3 isn’t out yet.
Final thoughts…
I will be crying daily until book 3. But this was so perfect in every sense.
