I cried when it ended because I was enjoying it sooooo much. It’s sad when you get into the characters and don’t have enough time with them.
What I liked…
The story is amazing and really works as a duology despite my sadness over it ending.
It’s a fun story and easy to follow despite the complexities of it.
Eve and Shane,.. I can’t tell you specifics on how I felt without spoiling things, but I definitely liked what happened with them.
Eve grows a lot as a character throughout the duology, and I loved seeing her stand up for herself more in book 2.
Final thoughts…
I still love how it’s like Dynasty in book form, and by the end, Eve is bold and full of confidence and able to make harder decisions.
